My book editor at HarperCollins, Jennifer Pooley, for getting unceremoniously mocked by those ultra-nasties over at Gawker.com for buying a book of fashion-forward nursery rhymes called THIS LITTLE PIGGY WENT TO PRADA.
Per Gawker:
The book is already out in Britain, and, according to British Vogue, it contains bits like this:
This little piggy went to Cannes,
This little piggy dined at Nobu,
And this little piggy, Hakkasan.
And this little piggy went ‘Wee wee wee wee!’
All the way home because she had a fat bottom!”
Which presents a ethical question: Do we think book burnings are ever morally acceptable?
