Vanity Fair released the very first pictures of Tom Cruise and Katie Kate Holmes‘ long-hidden baby Suri today.

Katie Couric even started in her new evening anchor position yesterday by debuting the baby’s pictures.

(Guess she was scared to stand on the strength of just reporting hard news, so, when in doubt, whip an alien baby out.)
