Move over YouTube…

Jumpcut

YouTube is having it’s share of problems these days with accusations of copyright infringement.

In my opinion, this is just another example of “if you aren’t paying me, you can’t use my stuff”. While I can’t say that I blame Viacom; they sure are trying to mess up all the fun.

However, in this day and age, it doesn’t take long for another company to come along and pick up where one company leaves off.

In this case, the company I’m referring to is Jumpcut.

Jumpcut recently teamed up with Yahoo to allow Yahoo users the opportunity to create their own commercial for the Superbowl. The commercials were a great marketing promotion for Jumpcut and it also helped to create more opportunities for the Average Joe. While Jumpcut isn’t as big as YouTube yet, it’s a great place to create, add, and share your own videos. So, do yourself a favor and check them out.

You know this was in honor of the Bull post.
